Re: discussion on iris-talk.  That's SULTRY MOOD in the second photo,
tucked in amongst purple perilla, Chinese chives?, several varieties of
coleus , several varieties of tender and semi-hardy Salvias,.

Other rough and tumble 'weeds' in the first photo are tender Amaryllis,
red thing, hardy asters, two species of hardy black eyed Susans, hardy
Coreopsis, annual sunflowers, perennial Liatris, crown beard,
nasturtium, cleome, daylilies, two varieties of cigar plant, obedient
plant (Physostegia), several types of pinks (sweet William etc),
yellow/red/orange cosmos, probably some other stuff I've forgotten.

And a few TBs that do well in this kind of combination.  EASTER VIGIL,
SULTRY MOOD, WABASH.  IMMORTALITY is growing well, but hasn't bloomed so
far.

Some of these things self sow like crazy, especially the cosmos and
perilla.
