Wow! "Greased Lightning" is gorgeous! If I ever get a seedling this wonderful, I'll be running all the way to the judges' bench! If this is possible working with plicata parentage, I'm glad I'll be ordering plicatas this coming season. While I don't really like plicatas in general, I'm hoping that its being a recessive gene, the beard color may trump a tangerine beard without passing along plicata markings -- at least in future generations if not the first.
