What has impressed me the most about ADRENALIN RUSH so far is its very strong substance. Do its seedlings continue this characteristic?
Hi Neil,
Most do not but in a good number of crosses, AR
tends to bring out some unusual traits in distantly related cvs and accentuate
traits of those closely related.
QUANTUM THEORY is out of AR paired with another of
the Siberian type F1s. 92JS4B was a short, non-descript little thing who passed
along reddish buds and spathes to it's seedlings. QT is tall, with larger than
average blooms and the darkest maroon-purple bud sheaths and spathes I've seen
yet. The color fades slightly as bloom begins. Her kids are old enough to bloom
next season and I'm seeing some strong foliage in a number of them.
:-)
