I bet that's it - - seems to have a bit of turquoise in it.
 
I've tried multiple times crossing with it  - as both a pod parent and pollen parent.  Not a one took.

There seem to be shades of green in the center of these blue falls.  It almost gives a turquoise effect.  Turquoise is another shade never seen in irises.

This is one of Joe Ghio's.  Sea Swells.  For me it's been a slow but steady grower. Seems to bloom every other year, but when it does  - - you can't take your eyes off it!   Lovely form I think. This shade of blue (it may be hard to tell in the picture) is different than any other I've seen.
