I believe the color variation on Sweet Mussett is camera related. Notice how much bluer the soil and leaves are in the Broken Silence photo. I my opinion this is the more natural colored photo.

In the Sweet Mussett photo everything has a yellow cast.

I made some adjustments in PSP, result attached.
