by "children" (but the children themselves have so far proved to be a 'dead end'), I didn't know you meant only the IB X TB crosses. Sorry.
I understand now : (Are any of those IB x TB crosses ? Those are the types I refer to.)
Jan Sparks ' mail yesterday was also quite informative on this matter.
 
Still, he managed to pollinate Ingenious with an AB seedling, so there is hope!
 
I will try next spring, on every single flower of the ones i have, Flavours, Lyrique and Irish Darling.
And also with the SDBs from Zing me,  with the hope that finally a fertile IB should come up one day...!
 
The minute one of us gets some result and share the info, it might save us a lot of time!

I'm sorry to contradict you with some good news, but some children of Zing Me have made it to posterity:
 
Celsius has given Be my Angel, Frisk Me, Hum, It's a Giggle, Minted Gold, Sharp Dart, Shinding, Terse Verse.
Death By Chocolate has given Irish Harp.
Late for school has given In the school.
Shindig has given Awake, Mambo, Rumble, Storm Song, Tickle the Ivories, Whydidi.
Terse Verse has given Guise, More Drama, Posing and Uppity.
 
So I can have a lot of fun with Zing Me, as well as hope my seedlings will open to something interesting!

 Yes it's true that you can have a lot of fun with Zing Me, but the children themselves have so far proved to be a 'dead end'. It's similar to the problem you get when you cross a PCI to a Siberian (Cal-Sib), the progeny are beautiful - but not fertile. It may take a chance mutation for some fertile offspring to result.

Crossed with TBs, Zing Me has given many children with spots:
 
Besotted and Flavours, from (Zing Me X Knight Templar),
Ingenious, from (Zing Me X Imprimis),
Lyrique, from (Zing Me X Divine),
Zingerado, from ( Zing Me x Silverado),
Zinglet, from Zing Me X Specularor)
 
In order to get the spot you want on TBs, these children could be crossed with TBs that have a wide rim like :
Mastery, and its children Final Episode, Indulgence or Ruling Lord,
Glitterati, and it's child Machismo,
Magharee, and it's children Exclusivity, Opal Brown,
or the older Pagan Dance.
 
And these are only the Australian ones from Blyth!
 
 
 
To give you some hope:
 
I have 7 seedlings, out of 23 seeds, from a 2006 cross( Zing Me X Cruise to Autumn).
And from the 2007 crosses, i have 43 seeds from (Zing Me x Romantic Evening).
 
But i am mostly interested with crosses that will give me IB size irises, so next year i won't cross it with TBs.
So, THIS is for you to do!
 
 
 
Crossed with SDBs in 2006 i got
 
11 seedlings out of 26 seeds from (Zing Me x Eitje)
6 seedlings out of 55 seeds from (Zing Me x Cimaron rose)
 
and in 2007:
 
18 seeds from (Zing Me x "Klojo"=(Gypsy Boy x Hot)),
5 seeds from (Zing Me x Double Life),
and 47seeds from (Zing Me x Pinch me).
 
You see, it's endless!
