Keith had his catalogue out in Jan 2004.  Barry put his catalogue out in late 2004. Keith had sold a considerable number of plants, and had delivered them before Barry's catalogue came out.


They very carefully reviewed and followed the rules. The rules apply to all of the AIS awards, not just the Dykes medal. Although not specifically listed in Judges handbook, On the Ballets, for HM  only the varieties introduced in North America are listed, and no space  or allowance for write ins. If it doean't win HM, it is not eligible for any further awards.


Decadence is definitely eligible, if it  wins a  Wister Medal . If not eligible , it would not have been awarded any of the other AIS awards that it has so far won. HM 2006, AM 2008

But what's written in the registration is not absolutely clear:
 
"Keppel, Tempo Two 2004, 2004/05."
 
and it is open to interpretation.
