<<This is my favorite of the neglectas, 2019-03. >>

Griff, I should see several children from this one in the next couple of years.  I'm looking forward to seeing the bloom on (Hello Darkness x Tara's Choice) x this one (2019-03)  Extremely healthy looking plants.

The cross produced approximately half white and half neglecta.  I saved a couple of white ones and three of the neglectas.

This is my favorite of the neglectas, 2019-03.  There is a second that looks very much like it, and a third one that is more tailored.  The tailored one has the best branching.

Betty  --  Did your cross of LW X Romantic Evening produce any seedlings that retained the velvet texture and dark color in the falls?  Have you some photos?  --  Griff

<<LWâs form, Betty.  Itâs also a sturdy iris.>>
Griff, in my cross with LW X Romantic Evening, a high percent of seedlings have good form.  Branching, etc., need work, but it was definitely a forward step in my opinion.  It's my experience, when working with rebloomers, that total success is rarely reached in the first generation.  ;-)

I agree about LWâs form, Betty.  Itâs also a sturdy iris.  The drought gave me little rebloom this year, but LW put up several stalks just before the freeze 2 weeks ago.  --  Griff

Griffin, consider crossing it on to Lunar Whitewash.  You might have to cross back for the red amoena, but the results should be interesting.  LW gives the form here.

Iâm delighted with this rich red amoena, 05I1  (Brazilian Holiday x 98G1:(Lady Friend x Chinese Treasure)), but would like to broaden the falls.  --  Griff
