Thanks for the photo and details.

Forever Blue produces a lot of rebloomers like this from  crosses wit hFall Cyclic  TB rebloomers. It's plant energy  and rapid growth  enhances Fall Cyclic tendencies  in the other parent.

I have a number of these IBs.  Some  limited fertility.  Some are  TB height with many  flowers. Cross would be worth repeating.

Another one out of 03-236ARE: Bonus Mama X Neptune's Cloak, which
reblooms too late here.  This one an IB by Forever Blue that bloomed all
summer and fall, but only 3 buds when happy, one during the drought.
 
Was trying for blue-bearded white. Two others put up stalks this fall,
one cool white, the other spit the bit out when potted. 3 out of 5 from
this cross.
 
Trying again - still messy?
