That might be it then,  since this noid has bloomed for the first time in a bed planted 6 years ago!

Yeah, that might be a better match.  Bel Esprit has a fuller fall form ... 

I grew 'Color Fusion' ... it might still be out there somewhere in the North garden, but it hasn't bloomed since it's first year of transplant.
