The problem with the recent spam messages is that they were forged by the attacker using "From" email addresses that are properly subscribed to the group.

Either the member's email system has been hacked or the spammer found the addresses otherwise and forged the email.

There is not much I can do unless I unilaterally unsubscribe members that have been members for a long time.

Hopefully it will not get too much worse.
