Carryl, The man at the nursery where I got it can not remember what it is.
Someone gave him 4 or 5 of these as a gift with a large order he placed for
his nursery and they were unmarked. He is not sure. The reason I want to
know what it is relates to where will I plant it? Is it true of all cedars
that nothing will grow under them? I feel sure this is in the cedar family ,
perhaps a thuja occidentalis?
We have a property line edged with Leyland Cypress and the cypress turns a
right angle corner and starts down the line on that side too. I was thinking
of planting this near the corner of property line in front of cypress . That
area has a mixed shrub border about 25 feet inside of cypress row. No
perennials in the area just a few naturalized daffs.
