Re: Photo: Double Dribble


I am taking a guess but I think one reason Joe Ghio named it that is because it reblooms which means that it blooms in its normal Spring time and then again in the Fall.  The iris are named by the hybridizer who created them.  Some times they are just fun names.  Maybe someone else will know more.  Hope this helps. Thank you for the pic :}  Now my basketball player wants to know why it's called Double Dribble....any clues anyone?  Why do I have this feeling I may be looking for iris with bastketball and soccer names<G>.
