[PHOTO] Re: re TB: the Pinkest Pink

Hi Bill,

If you fell for that one you will really fall for Ovation.  She is a wonder.  I am very surprised that more people do not grow her.  I know that I didn't for years and now I won't be without it.  Intense pink all over including beards.  Hey how are your Ca. iris doing that I sent you??  Let me know,  Bonnie

I want to thank everyone that responded to my post about my fantasy pink. Reminds me a bit of that silly new TV show where a guy has so many lovely candidates from which to pick one beauty.  So far, though, I have to say One Desire has stolen my heart. She may just be the one for me. I had never seen her before Laetitia's post, but these pictures are breathtaking. I love the pure pink beard, especially.

I will order her for sure this year, but with the discussion on this board, there may be a big demand for her suddenly. ;-)  A couple of years ago, I remember some discussions about Sugar Blues and her strong scent. As a result, I have ordered her two years in a row, but she has always been sold out. We may start a run on One Desire, too!

Bill Wells (where the snow is all gone, it's warmer outside, and I'm being set up for the next inevitable cold snap...)

This is my candidate for the 'pinkest pink'. Its ONE DESIRE, an old
fashioned iris, but very clear, pure pink, no hafts whitish or yellowish
areas. And the beard is pure pink too.
