[PHOTO] Re: unknown Iris-maybe a Louisiana

Christy, my friend measured the unknown iris and says is is 22" tall and the flower is 7" across. This morning the wind is blowing and one of the standards is standing up. Here is a side picture of the same iris

Thanks Christy, I'll ask her to measure it. I don't think it's very tall. She did tell me today it has 6 buds. Yes I did notice the "horns".

It's a Bearded iris of some type (can't tell how tall it is from the photo).

Does anyone else notice what look like teeny horns at the ends of the
beards?
