Heavily ruffled and laced smooth deep purple; pronounced sweet fragrance. Navy Strut X Mystique. Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden 1989.

HONORABILE ? a variegata introduced by Lemon in 1840. Described in World of Irises as small-flowered with falls veined and tinted russet; height up to 30 in.

METAMORPHIC MAGIC ? (Tom Burseen, R. 1997). Sdlg. 93-339A. TB, 35" (89 cm), EM.
"S. light grey lavender; style arms darker grey lavender; F. cream ground, washed and streaked purple, heavier at edge; beards maize; ruffled. Step Beyond X Dawn Sky. T.B.'s Place 1997."

MARY GEDDES ? TB, Dykes Medal winner, introduced by Stahlman and Washington in 1931. (Can?t find description or parentage.)

PATHSIDE ? (Can?t find. Could it be PATHWAY? If so, Paul Black, Mid-America, 1992: IB. S. white central area with violet plicata markings, 1" brassy tan edge; F. White around beard blending to orchid violet plicata markings, 1 ½" orchid violet band; beards mustard, tipped violet at end; slight, sweet fragrance. Prediction x Chubby Cheeks sib.)
