Francelle, that is just downright annoying! :-(
Seriously, it looks like you have hit on a winning method to get your
seedlings off to an early start and avoid the 'summer death to babies'
problems.
Misery loves company - good to see that at least one of your crosses
refused to germinate. Are you going to hold them over to see if they
need two years to germinate?
That's the one big drawback to planting directly in the ground - what to
do about delayed germinants.
My biggest indoor germinated/fast track seedlings look more like yours,
Brian. But at least they have enough of a jump on the growing season to
be able to get them out in the garden before hot weather. Most of them
anyway.
