Especially when such big changes exist between parents (and
grandparents) and their children. Wish I had good photos of bloom habit
of parents that I could post.
Pod parent is tall with branching and bud count, but branches twist
around and stalks tend to curve or lean. They are strong, not prone to
falling, just curve around, probably in response to alternating wierd
weather here.
Pollen parent has occasionally produced over 20 buds, lots of branching,
but is often stunted, maximum height around 35 inches, but usually
closer to 30.
Much as I am delighted by this child, there is a chance it will display
all the bad stalk habits of its parents in the future. ...or maybe it
will continue to be this good.
34oF this morning and raining...
