Of the two orange irises I grow I prefer Gratuity (Hager 1989) over
Fringe Benefits (Hager 1988). Fringe Benefits took longer to settle in,
didn't bloom the first two years, even though it came from a much
larger rhizome. Gratuity has a larger bloom and has bloomed every year
for me so far.
