I just checked our City Lights and so far it is not in bud or bloom.  We have had alot of cold up our way this year so maybe that is why.  Do you know where you got it or when?

I too thought that this iris might be City Lights. 

Where in Ca. are you?  We are  North of Sacramento.  I am going to check to see if our City Lights is blooming.  It will be in about an hour that I will check for you.

Here is a picture of my first Iris for 2009 I don?t know the name of it but I like the looks of it for this early in the season.  I live in Central Calif where the Almond trees are beginning to bloom.
