A couple of siblings to the bright yellow fall maiden posted 11/17/10.
The one with yellow standards is a short thing so far. Can't decide if
I like it or hate it, but seem drawn to it each year. Kind of like the
fascination of watching a train wreck - can't seem to look away.

The other one sprouted a year later. Maidened last spring ludicrously
stunted. That pattern is a real head-scratcher.Â
