Sterling,, in your quest for more info on Special
Feature, I have one called Crystal Nugget ,of Cadds I am guesting for
the spring regional 2005 where S F was the pollen parent to
Elizabeth Podiark , and is discribed as : very ruffled diamond dusted creamy
white self with yellow on the shoulders. Beards yellow, protruding in short
fuzzy white horn.. Best seedling Santa Rosa Iris Society show

Margie, does your Special Feature consistently
have
double beards on each fall? I grew Special Feature for
a number of
years and it did not consistently have
double beards. The "special feature"
I thouhgt was
that it has flounces. Regarding double beards, I see
them
every once in a while during bloom season in
pretty much all the classes.
Usually, it looks like
two falls have merged, much like Margie's
picture.
