Rebloomers

October Sky - Lauer 2000

For those of you looking for a good rebloomer, I can recommend this one.  I don't usually grow RBs because they tend to send up bloomstalks in November and get frozen out, but I grew this as one of the auction irises for our local club.
From the original single rhizome planted in early August, there were 8 increases by October, and it bloomed in May, another stalk in June, another stalk in July and, finally, a stalk in August, which was in bloom for our auction.  AND there were 12-14 buds per stalk!  Of course, we had a lot of rain last summer, but even so, I think this was spectacular!
