I don't remember if Sambuca has a scent or not.  I guess we both can find out this spring. :-)  I've never grown Tinder Box.  I do love maroon blacks though - - would you happen to have a photo of that?

You would love Old Black Magic.......it has a wonderful scent.......and a deep Matte color with a bronze beard.......and show stalks of bloom!........I love Hello Darkness so I know I will love Sambuca......The darker the better..........do you grow Tinder Box..........along the same lines but a black maroon........let me know if you are interested........you can't find it everywhere............is Sambuca scented??..........I love the iris that smell nice............

I've grown both Hello Darkness and Sambuca (but never Old Black Magic).  It is definitely richer and darker in color than Hello Darkness.  I can't help but think you'll love how black it is.
