I was sorting through some photos tonight and ran across this one.  This was right after I got my digital camera.  The date says July 28th, 2003.  You can see my pink dahlias in the picture.  (Before I moved)
 
This was an old and very tired 5 year old clump.  This was blooming out of sheer determination!  I remember being shocked but thrilled when I saw the stalk, but I don't believe I've looked at this picture since.
