Re: IB: Candy Rock (G. Sutton 2000)

Nice to know it's a showy number, even if you had to wait so  long to see it!

In your zone 4 you could try ANGEL HEART, LOW HO SILVER, CONCOCTION, and MIDSUMMER'S EVE

They are the early ones here to rebloom and they might rebloom before frost hits Michigan!

Subject: [iris-photos] IB: Candy Rock (G. Sutton 2000)

Here's an iris that I won as a prize about 3 years ago.  It's never bloomed until now.  But boy, did it put on a nice show!!!  Two stalks, all of seven buds apiece, and the whole plant was in bloom for an entire two weeks.  I really like it. However, none of the blossoms showed signs of SA appendages.  Neither did it rebloom . . . but that's not unusual.  Nothing really does for me. ;-)

so far infertile both ways.  but if ever made it to a show, is has the ability to have 3 blooms open at once! :-)
