Atroviolacea was divided last year, the photo is a first year after replant bloom. Am expecting around 30 increase rhizomes that will bloom next year, and if it follows the same pattern there should be over 100 increase rhizomes in 2003 when it will be divided again. No exagerration, once Atroviolacea settles in it increases faster than rabbits.
Baby Blessed picture was taken at the Van Heusden iris garden in Lenox, Michigan. Do not know anything about this variety.
Baltic Blue is perhaps my favorite iris. Find that it looks very similar to Serenity Prayer. From an amateur hybridizer viewpoint, can inform that it is pollen fertile as a pod has formed on the cross of Sun Puppy x Baltic Blue. Next year, God willing, it is going to be hybridized extensively.
