Laetitia, If you go to http://irfanview.com I think you will be able to
download Irfan's freeware. It supports, among others, BMP formats. What I do
is use that program to call up a picture which may or may not be a .bmp and
after I have adjusted it for size, I save it to .jpg ending, for example,
Stepping Out.jpg, and it seems to automatically save it to a .jpg file. So
far it has worked for me.
