Here's a very nice iris intro from 2001 by Chuck Chapman.  It was just a single rhizome last summer.  The flowers are rather close on the stalk, but I'm sure it'll be better next year.  The colour is slightly darker than the picture, since it was actually a sunny day here, for a change!
