Dear Rob,
Come to our public sale also!!!!! I am President of the Blue Grass Iris Society in Lexington, Kentucky. Our sale is the week before the Louisville's sale. Our sale is at Turfland Mall on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington starting at 10 AM on Saturday, July 31. We also have hybridizers who come to the sale and would be happy to give you pointers. I don't hybridize, myself.
We also have a private sale, which is a lot of fun, we order from a hybridizer, this year it is from Larry Lauer, and we sell the irises to our members at 1/3 the catalog price. To participate all you have to do is join our society and bring your checkbook. We all buy til we drop or our money runs out. Anything that does not sell at the private sale will be sold at the public sale.
Contact me if you are interested.
Annette Milch (President of the BGIS) in Lexington, KY
