RE: Seedling 98-134

I like it, Bob.  The colors are beautiful.  I won’t buy it, because late irises just burn up here, but I would hate to see it destroyed.  They are much appreciated in the colder parts of the country.

Subject: [iris-photos] Seedling 98-134

Need some feed back!  This is seedling 98-134:  Pipes of Pan X Woodland Rose

She appears to be a "Plain Jane"  Iris even with her make-up on (rain drops).  She does have a nice beard but no frills not that every Iris needs frills.   One of her one redeeming attributes is that she will still have a few blooms on July 1st sometimes as late as July 5th.   Our peak bloom is the last week of May so she is very very late.  My question is,  should she go the way of the compost pile or should I introduce her so others can have the joy of some late color in their garden.  The cross was made in 1998 so I have kept her around for awhile going back and forth, should I or shouldn't I.  I would appreciate any help I can get.  Many Thanks.
