people put chicken wire around tulip bulds-perhaps it would work with irises - with a suitable size of mesr, of course

Gopher's are destroying our iris. I have tried numerous 'bombs' and now am putting ground hot pepper down their tunnels. Need to find a better way to eradicate them. Open to any idea
