This is a re-send, because the original
inadvertantly attached too-large photos.

Subject: Re: [iris-photos] CULT: grumbling about weather Mary Lou -- That's a much better growth
of STARRING than I'm able to achieve. Here, it hardly grows above border
bearded height, and it's hard to keep. Like you, I've had no pods on it,
but it's a good pollen producer, and I have several seedlings from it. One
of those is ROMANIA, ROMANIA, registered last year.
>Got any more pictures, Griff?<
Do dogs have fleas? This is 20D11 (Aura Light X Lumalite), an intermediate. I like its
double ring and the center stripe. I have a pod on it from Don Spoon's RED
RABBIT. It's a small pod, and I just had to harvest it early, so I
hope there'll be seeds. The excess rainfall here has been keeping pods
green, but taking its toll on stalks. Normally, I would have harvested
most of the SDB and Intermediate pods by now.
I'd also like to post some assorted seedlings that
I'm just now selecting. At the moment, I'm waiting for late contractors to
arrive (a chronic problem in the DC area) when I should be out in the
garden. So, I may have an opportunity. Stand by (but don't hold your
breath, please). -- Griff
