Hi Griff..............what a clever way to describe "Got Spots!"  It's a super great grower and increaser. Siblings cross - I'll have to look up. I can't wait to see the ones that didn't bloom this year - (I'm hoping this spring.)

Margie  --  Some of my E-mails have been being set aside for later answering, and this is one of them.  I really like 'Got Spots'!  Sort of like a spicy cousin of Edith Wolford.  I also liked your four sibling seedlings, particularly Nos. 2 and 3.  The red in No. 2 is exciting, and a really vibrant yellow, of whatever shade, like No. 3, is hard to pass up.  If you mentioned the parentage of all of these, I missed it.  --  Griff

Hi Griff,
Aren't plicatas fun? I lean towards the top one too, but for personal reasons. I introduced a plicata similar to this just this year. This color combination in plicatas exhibited in both of ours is eye-catching, and there really isn't all that many in this category. Is this their first year (maiden bloom)?
Here is "Got Spots"...........a 2009 Intro.

I'm not a plicata person, but it's winnowing time and I have to decide what stays and what goes among the seedlings.  So, judging just on the flower alone (I'll deal with low bud count, etc.), which should I keep to work with?  (More to come.)  --  Griff
