Without knowing the reason for 5 pods, I would be hard put to advise.

Subject: [iris-photos] HYB: how many should I plant?

244 seeds from a cross of these two, 5 pods -

pink is IMM X CELEBRATION SONG, short TB or tall BB, makes a nice
foliage susceptible to summer crud, decent bud count & branching

cream with yellow partial bib is TEA LEAVES X CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE,
healthy, TB, med bud count, needs branching

Both put up a lot of stalks.
