rather it is I.pallida. It can be confused with variants of I.germanica, not
with Florentina as it is white one. As I have mentioned in some my previous
messages to
identify only from flower is quite difficult. There are some other
indications which allow identify better. For I.pallida there are wholly
silvery bracts, which are not for other species.There are some var. of
I.pallida which can vary some. My I.pallida at first sight is similar to
that in the pic. About I.florentina I have reported in details in the
message from Tuesday, March 21, 2000, 10:06PM
