No, those are genetic haft marks. Virus marks are usually smaller
spots/streaks that are darker. Like in the attached image of Wiskey Mack.
Many of the older arilbreds were susceptable to iris marking. It appears to
be both genetic and weather related as some years a cultivar can clean and
the next year terrible.
