Bellender Blue (Bauer/Coble 93)
Sandra: Yes, it's one flower on Lion King,
known as a multipetal--from 9 to 12 petals per flower. Bellender Blue is a
3 Fall variety, which is lovely, too, in its simplicity.
Catherine: I'm in Zone 7.
In order to grow Japanese, you need two
things: an acid soil (a ph of 6 or less) and lots of water.
They are also heavy feeders. They are very hardy and will survive severe
winters if they have these two things.
