anyone know what species this iris is?

I bought three starts of this years ago from a lady who said they were japanese roof iris but they arn't.  they do go dormant when the wheather gets hot, start growing again in winter and usually bloom just about the time the spuria iris start blooming. They arn't louisiana iris the foliage & flowers just arn't right. One picture shows them blooming with the old white spuria. Yahoo!
