Re: Strange BATIK bloom

My weird blooms weren't caused by RoundUp, either. The bed in which BATIK lives is surprisingly weed-free, and the other iris bed had a few teeny maple trees thanks to those darn helicopters that flutter all over, but I pulled those, and same with the onion grass. I think the strange weather caused them.

I have, however, hit my beds with three applications of Messenger so far. Maybe it sent BATIK into overdrive! <G>

ROUND UP? Not a chance...I am organic (but not certified), and my neighbour is also, has lived there for years, never uses chemicals...only PULLS the weeds (like I do) I could tell you some nightmares about what Round Up has done to your water and foods....but no way has it happened to my Iris.

*Round Up free zone* so sure, we have some weeds, but they are HEALTHY weeds (and my goats and llamas and horses sure love to eat them)

The weird blooms are probably RoundUp damage.
