Re: Hyb: more spotted dogs

4 increases on each seedling tells me that it grows every well for a first year seedling. Branching and bud count are all very good. It's to soon to tell if any SAB seedlings will be intro.  Rockytop Gardens intros. my iris and should have a good supply of SAB if you or anyone else wants to rise spotted dogs.  Seedling #02-180a http://www.hort.net/lists//iris-photos/jun03/msg00581.html  Not much on form but it has a Emma Cook pattern with plicata markings. Seedling #03-102a is my wife Linda's seedling (beginners luck) and is a wonderful pollen parent. http://www.hort.net/lists//iris-photos/may03/msg00803.html  It's great having Rockytop do all the work.  The downside is I can't promote my iris by sending it to all the judges for ais awards. Exposure is everything. But that a whole other story.
