Hello, I recently acquired this plant labelled "COLUMBINE" the 1930 introduction by Mur, I believe. Columbine is shown and described as a small white TB.
Any suggestions as to what this cute smaller flowered purple iris might be?
Plant is 32 inches in height, has seven (7) flowers on it, three (3) branches, two of the branches have double sockets as well as the top of the stalk. The upper right facing branch has a single flower on it.
The flowers are small and purple on the standards. The falls are about half purple and half white with purple streaks. The beards are mostly pale yellow fading to very pale yellow half way down the fall towards the outer edge of the fall.
thanks for any identification help or suggestions.
