Re: In Flight not sure whether this is an IB, MTB or TB ??

Sandra,
IN FLIGHT  is a small bloomed TB much like Paul Black's DOLCE.   It is out of aphylla a few generations back. As it exceeds the height for an IB or BB it had to be classified as a TB.   Some gardener's find these smaller iris are excellent for use in flower arranging and the rarely fall over in 'less than desireable' weather conditions.
Not everyone wants an outsized bloom that needs stakeing in order to remain upright. We often have rain during the bloom season and most TB's fall over from the weight of rain on the open blooms.  IN FLIGHT does not.
