I am so discouraged - and you are just the folks to ask about this problem. The attached was sold to my by a reputable garden as Gypsy Romance. Clearly that is not what it is - the photo is accurate as to color - being quite a ruddy color as opposed to violet/purple. The bloom stalk is 25" Any ideas what the heck this is ??
