You guys have mentioned some Iris problems that I'm not familiar with. What are these 'iris borers' and 'leaf spots'  of which you speak?

Thanks Ann and El,

I can't really comment on branching because most of my stalks were
destroyed by borers. This seedling is the strongest and tallest of the
lot so I'll dig it up and line it out. When I get my hands on some safe
pestisides, I'll be able to properly evaluate my seedlings.
