Donald and Loic are probably right.  If I were breeding for whites, I would try it, but my goal is big, healthy, reblooming pinks.  I have several crosses of Cloud Reflection (Mesmerizer X Pink Champagne) by good pinks, growing vigorously in my seedling bed.  CR had pink siblings and crossed with pinks should give me some pink seedlings.  I’ll know next year whether or not they are any good.

Loic may be right, Francelle. The two seedlings that bloomed this year
using SK as the pod parent had large, wide blooms and weren't dull. I
expected dull using 'Lumiere D'Automne', but they weren't. Not all the
seedlings bloomed and more seeds came up this spring, so I may see both
small and dull when some of those bloom, but the first two weren't.
