Here's a first year bloomer!
It's right next to my driveway, and quite noticeable when you drive in. (More noticeable than any yellow iris, since there are sooooo many dandelions in the yard! [notice the back-ground in the photo? ;-) ])
I haven't met an iris I didn't like (for at least one reason . . .) and this little champion is no exception!
