Photo: RC: Persian Pansy

Here is a photo of an RC, which derives from crossing the 2 types of arils, oncocyclus and regelia.  This is Persian Pansy (I. nigricans X Late Amethyst) hybridized by the late Lloyd Austin.  Being purple, it is difficult to get the lighting just right in order to show its features well.  It is a pretty little thing and fertile.
