PHOTO: AB seedling ONAS-1

This arilbred seedling has as its pollen parent another historic aribred, C. G. White's Asoka of Nepal.  It has good color contrasts as well as fall veining, which comes from its aril ancestry.  The visible tears in two of the falls occurred when I was trying to carefull open the bud so I could see its maiden bloom.  Sometimes, I just can't wait!
