Wanted to test my hunch that this might be a weather related phenomenon so picked out a cute little AB that showed the trait...
The photo on the left is of Ode to Kalifa grown in the safety of the greenhouse. The photo on the right is Ode to Kalifa in the garden where the temperatures dropped into the 40s and 30s at night.
